Dual Diagnosis known as co-occurring

Dual Dx also know as co-occurring disorders refer to the presence of two or more distinct disorders or conditions in an individual simultaneously. Specifically in the context of mental health and substance, dual dx refers to coexistence of mental health disorder and a substance use disorder.
